Allyship is an active and consistent effort to use your privilege and power to support and advocate for people with less privilege. This training program empowers employees to take meaningful action and build an inclusive workplace culture.

Designed to be flexible and to be tailored to suit your organization’s needs, this program features almost 100 digital cards that highlight specific instances of workplace bias. The cards are organized into 12 sets curated for different audiences. Explore scenarios and have open discussions on how to approach issues. Provides background information based on annual research, and provides practical tips on how to address bias.

#IAmRemarkable is a global movement that empowers everyone to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond. It’s all about breaking the bias. Imposter syndrome. Stereotypes. Culture. For many reasons, lots of us feel uncomfortable sharing our achievements. By amplifying stories and research on the transformative power of self-promotion, we want to inspire every single person to share their accomplishments. During the 90-minute online workshop, participants will learn the importance of self-promotion in your personal and professional life and be equipped with tools to develop this skill.

Developed by KAIROS Canada in partnership with Indigenous communities across Canada, this is an interactive workshop with local Indigenous and non-Indigenous facilitators to learn about the history of colonization of this land and its impact on the First Nations, Inuit and Metis people on it. Participants step on blankets representing the land. The activity covers pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization, resistance and much more. It concludes with a talking circle for participants to discuss the experience.

EDI Conversations Series with Persons with Lived Experience (i.e. Lunch and Learn) Facilitation of dialogues, learning and understanding among employees for the purpose of education and awareness, promotion of inclusion, empathy and connection, professional development, inspiration and motivation. They help to create a more inclusive and supportive workplace culture where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to bring their whole, authentic selves to work.

We can help you establish internal networks to help support your EDI initiatives.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups within your organization focused on a specific demographic, identity or shared interest to provide support, networking, professional development, and advocacy for its members. They also serve as a resource for the organization to promote EDI initiatives and provide feedback on related policies and practices.
EDI Teams can benefit your organization by championing and implementing EDI initiatives among employees. They can be involved in development of assessment, strategic plan, framework, as well as training and education.

Each month we offer Talks with Tymm where our consultant, Tymmarah Mackie, offers an hour of her time to share ideas about equity, diversity and inclusion and/or to discuss current events, new legislation, etc. Talks with Tymm is pay what you can to remove any barriers for participants.
